Afghanistan Votes!!!

Well, it looks like it actually happened- the people of Afghanistan finally had their say. This was a monumental event, no matter how you spin it. You might have heard about the "ink scandal." Sure it sounds ridiculous, but I have two words for you- "hanging chads." Instead of ripping the Afghanis for being difficult and stubborn, we should tip our hats to them- it took them all of 3 years to figure out our political system and duplicate it to perfection. Amazing! But seriously folks, great job to all who made that possible...

You Can't Afford to Miss This One...

Check out this masterpiece from Senator Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga. This guy's good. Really good.

Army Won!

You might remember my bold prediction last Friday- that the Cadets would use the inspiration from Bob Dole's motivational speech and finally put an end to college football's longest losing streak. They did it! Army beat Cincinnati 48-29. Now we're really cookin'! Should I now predict that my winless Dolphins will end pro football's longest winning streak today with a victory over the unbeaten New England Patriots? Don't think so. I may be optimistic, but I'm not stupid...

The Metrosexual and the Cowboy

Looks like Fox stepped on it recently with an embarrassing gaffe by Fox News analyst Carl Cameron. He wrote a "fake" story that ridiculed John Kerry- it wasn't meant for public viewing, but it somehow wound up on Fox's website- oops! This is a big deal because Carl Cameron is covering the Kerry campaign for Fox. I like Carl and I agree with his sentiments, but in the interest of being "fair and balanced," I would recommend that fox pull him off of political coverage- at least until this election is over.

Speaking of news corruption, why in the world is Dan Rather still at the news desk???? And what about this memo from ABCNEWS Political Director Mark Halperin? You know what? Forget what I said before- Fox needs to do whatever they can to minimize the overwhelming liberal bias that plagues the rest of the MSM. Go get 'em, Carl!
